As Chairman of the company Ian has accumulated a lifetime of experience in the Print Industry.

Driven by a passion to keep ahead of trend, Ian has since the arrival of the first web printing press in the UK back in the 60’s, always had a keen interest of the latest technology and his knowledge of both printing and finishing equipment is encyclopaedic.

Added to this his experience in running printing companies is unrivalled. He was responsible for the implementation of the first daily newspaper printing company in Nigeria and following the success of that he moved to Saudi Arabia where he was responsible for running the government press and simultaneously the print adviser to the Saudi Government.

On returning to the UK he continued to be trend setter establishing with Chris one of the first dedicated digital printing companies in the UK.

With overall responsibility for sales and customer services Chris is the “front of house” of New Era and first point of contact.

With years of experience Chris is passionate about our customers and the experience they have when dealing with the company.

Whether it be discussing marketing strategy and design briefs, to specifying the right materials for the jobs, Chris is very particular to ensure our clients are provided with the best solutions in response to their enquiries.

Interests: Rowing, Rugby and Cricket with a work hard, play hard attitude.

Greatest sporting achievements: National Rowing Champion and competing at Henley Royal Regatta.

Overseeing all prepress, studio and design, Marcus has worked in typesetting, design and print for over 35 years, building and maintaining strong relationships with our clients. Attention to detail, customer satisfaction and efficient workflow are a priority.

Working with clients to achieve best results either from supplied artwork or discussing requirements to create fresh, new designs across a wide range of media.

Interests: Football, Rugby & Hockey – having played for over 25 years and also loves a good walking weekend with a couple of pints at the end.

As operations director, Gary oversees all aspects of day to day running of the company. Estimating, job creation, all procurement, through to production, despatch and preparing information for accounts.

Having worked in the industry for over 40-years, studied printing at Matthew Bolton (Birmingham) as part of National Graphics Association (NGA). Progressed from operating multiple colour Heidelberg & Roland presses, implementing Management Information Systems (MIS), head of procurement and production manager. With over 16 years in print sales, enjoyed working closely with clients on multiple large projects in advising best solutions within budget and timescales.

Interests: Football, Cricket, Cycling, Bowling and Darts. A continued long-suffering Shrewsbury Town F.C. supporter. Enjoys a good walk, wine, food, extended weekends and holidays breaks. A newfound love of Latin and Ballroom dancing, proves you’re never too old to learn something new.
